The success press conference of Jawan was held today in Mumbai and as expected, it was a memorable affair. All the actors of the film got a huge response during their entry on the stage. But the loudest cheers were reserved for superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Jawan success press conference: Shah Rukh Khan gives a ROCKING intro speech: “The wonderful Deepika Padukone is stunning. Vijay Sethupathi is outstanding. Aur mera toh jawaab hi nahin!”
Amid hooting and whistling, Shah Rukh Khan began his intro speech by saying, “Yahan pe jo log aaye hai, sabke paas kam time hai. Let me speak for 2 minutes. Then we can do lot of shouting and screaming. Let me explain why we are doing this. I need to tell you the importance of this day to all of us. Of course, its a celebration of Jawan.”
The hooting continued and Shah Rukh Khan playfully said “Sshhh” to his fans! He also switched to Azad’s mode and said “Ready”. He then switched back and said “Ok quiet now!”
SRK continued, “Bahut kam mauka milta hai ke ek film ke saath hum itne saalon tak jeete hai. Jawan has been in the making for four years because of COVID and time constraints. There were so many people involved with this film, especially people from down South who came and shifted to Mumbai. They have been living in Mumbai for the last four years, working day and night for this film the hardest ever. Bahut log apne ghar bhi nahin gaye. Bahut saare log hai jinke bachhe yahan pe ho gaye…mere director Atlee ke!”
Shah Rukh Khan further said, “I want you to please give them the loudest applause. The wonderful Deepika Padukone is stunning, all the ladies in the film are beautiful, Vijay Sethupathi is outstanding. Sunil Grover kamaal hai. Aur mera toh jawaab hi nahin!” As expected, fans went crazy as Shah Rukh Khan uttered the last sentence.
He stated, “But the film’s real heroes are those technicians who made this film since the last four years.” Shah Rukh Khan then thanked co-producers Gaurav Verma and executive producers Dharam and Pratik.
SRK added, “Pooja Dadlani is like family to me. She worked the hardest. Also (thanks to) the wonderful lady, who has just become a mother, Priya, the force behind Atlee!”
Shah Rukh Khan explained why his co-star Nayanthara was absent, “Nayanthara ji is not here as its her mother’s birthday.”
